Control various user specific settings within Hivemapper.
Set default map location
Update the default location Hivemapper loads on the 3D map. By default, Hivemapper will send you to a location in California, but by using this feature you can set that to any location and camera position you wish.
To change this location: load Hivemapper and sign into your account. Navigate the map to whatever location and camera position you wish to have as your default. Open the menu on the left and click the "Make Default Location" button as shown below. From now on, your default map loading location will be whatever you have selected here. Update this location in the future by simply following these same steps.
Reset your password
In order to update your password you must first load Hivemapper and sign into your account with your current credentials. Once signed in, navigate to the Password Reset Page and provide your current password as well as the new password you wish to use. Finally, click the "Get started" button. Moving forward you will now sign into Hivemapper using this new password.
If you have forgotten your password and are unable to sign in, contact one of your system administrators and they can provide a temporary password for you. Once you've signed in with the temporary password you can go to the Password Reset Page and change it to whatever you wish.
